I found a very very very good fic on FF.net 'bout Lance: The story of a legend [link] . Lance is a twelve years old boy who begins his journey into a dangerous world.
The author has a great style, each chapter is short but full of mysteries, actions with reasonable strategies, not "Chikorita used Razor Leaf, Totodile dodged it and then used Tackle. Chikorita faint"... sth like this.
(Sorry but this kind of battle is everywhere on FF.net, especially fics 'bout Lyra =.= It suck, but everyone still enjoy it. I dunno why.)
The descriptions of human and Pokemon here are good too, and with a suprising ending. Well, I 'll not give any spoiler.
I suggest all Lance's fans should read this amazing fic. ^ ^ It 's worth it!
